Meet That Other Girl: Suzie Boneau

Whole Heart is about living life with your whole heart, indulging your passions wholly and living a clean lifestyle with whole, healthy foods. So, it made perfect sense to create a team of women I admire who live life with their whole heart. Meet our newest contributor, Suzie Boneau. 

Suzie Boneau is the owner of The Traveling Bundle, a baby equipment rental company serving the Austin, Texas area. Suzie graduated from Texas State University, is mother to her son Archer, dog River, cat Feona, and is partner to her husband Craig. Suzie is a small business owner, has a passion for travel, loves to support the local economy, eats clean and stays fit, and frequents the kid friendly and not so kid friendly foodie scenes.

The Boneaus make it a point to take at least one overseas trip, and a couple trips within the US, a year. Suzie  is very familiar with the struggles (not to mention physical labor!) of traveling with a baby and then toddler, and loves to share helpful knowledge that she has learned along the way.

Suzie is also a foodie gone Paleo/Primal, and has been eating a Primal diet for over 4 years. This includes pregnancy, recovery, and beyond. Suzie believes that physical fitness and eating clean are imperative to a healthy and qualitative lifestyle. One of her greatest accomplishments has been to give her son a solid foundation to  develop healthy habits and the tools to be successful in choosing nutritious foods.

Being a reformed foodie Suzie still enjoys eating out around Austin, and trying all of the new and up and coming restaurants (sometimes bending and twisting the menu just a bit). Also, having a kiddo, she is always on the look out for delicious restaurants with a kid friendly atmosphere, preferably with live music and booze.

Suzie is also trying to stay cool, local, and a little hipster (representing the Eastside) by catching as many live shows and music festivals as possible with her family. Suzie is definitely keeping Austin weird…./eclectic.

Bump Your Baby to Sleep!

It’s 4 a.m., you’ve been up since 2 with a screaming, fussy, inconsolable infant! This baby that you thought was adorable at 8 p.m. is now starting to resemble one of the scary flying monkeys from the Wizard of OZ circa 1939.
